Village Hall Booking Clerk Required

Dr Rigby

It is with sad regret that we have to report the death of Dr Chris Rigby who had a fatal heart attack whilst on holiday with his family in Australia over the festive season. It is understood that he was 73 years of age, and has been cremated in Australia.

He joined the practice in 1963 and was a previous Chairman of Allhallows Parish Council for a number of years. He was still delivering Allhallows Life magazine and a regular subscriber to the rain fall figures. The Parish Council held a one minute silence at the start of its last meeting as a mark of respect; he was truly one of the supporters of the area serving for many years on the Biffa land fill committee to name just one of his many activities.
